- Captain Midnight broadcast signal intrusion
On April 27, 1986, American electrical engineer and business owner John R. If a quantum computer with a sufficient number of qubits could operate without succumbing to noise and other quantum decoherence phenomena, Shor's algorithm could be used to break public-key cryptography schemes such as the widely used RSA scheme.
- IP over Avian Carriers
IPoAC has been successfully implemented, but for only nine packets of data, with a packet loss ratio of 55% (due to user error), and a response time ranging from 3000 seconds (~54 minutes) to over 6000 seconds (~1.77 hours).
Thus, this technology suffers from poor latency.
